Perusing my local rag today, in the entertainment section, there’s a story about the dames of the late & lamented Sex & The City. But what struck me was how *so-late 1990s* the pic looked. There are the four of them – Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha – sitting there in dresses with, wait for it – bare legs – for all to see. I just thought, *ooh, that’s so then!* And I can only imagine (or hope) that hosiery will make a big comeback, if only to revolt against the bare-legged boredom & dreck of the past 5-10 years. But then no one said women who follow fashion were terribly bright.
