…That actually put women off wearing them? Could it be the suspenders with their fiddly clasps, feeling of sitting in a catapult, waiting for a rouge twang…? I mean, most women wouldnt think twice about wearing tights, or some even holdups – but mention real stockings and you might as well be selling bacon sandwiches at a jewish wedding! If women had more choice on the decent belt front in the high street, maybe we can convince them wearing real stockings is not fraught with danger and can actually be comfortable? There is a shortage of good belts and an even bigger shortage of good matching belts. Stockings also have an image problem, people tell you they are uncomfortable who have never worn them.
Anyway, it’s pretty sexy!
